Hello, guys how’s it going? Hope you are having a fantastic day! This week’s blog is quite different from my other blogs, this time I’ll discuss a new game called MX vs. ATV: Legends. First, I would like to say thank you to THQ Nordic for giving me the opportunity to play this game and share the experience with my viewers.

In case you have never heard of it before, MX vs. ATV: Legends is a motocross game, it’s different from any games I used to play. I normally race a car, and this time I’m racing a motor. You can play this game with a controller, mouse and keyboard, and with wheels but you have to map the controls yourself. So I chose to play this game with a controller. It has a career mode and exhibition mode. There are a lot of levels in career mode with different tracks in every level. So far it’s a fun game to play, although it was kinda hard at first to control the motor, but you’ll get used to it after a while.

What I like about this game is, it supports triple screen automatically, so you don’t need to set the resolution for triple. It is amazing to see the environment in this game with triple!
The soundtrack of this game is also cool. Good music, it meets the criteria of the genre that I like, which makes the game so enjoyable to play. The exhibition mode is cool! It’s more like a mini game where you race against the AI. Track is shorter, and you can choose how many laps and opponents you want in the race.

MX vs. ATV also has the online multiplayer mode, but I haven’t tried it yet. I focused on the career mode before I jumped to the multiplayer mode. I don’t want to ruin other people’s race haha. Now let’s talk about the things that I don’t really like or I wish they could improve in the next update. It’s not a bad thing actually. Don’t get me wrong.

Music is a bit too loud in my opinion. Of course you can lower down the volume in settings but the volume control is quite limited. You can set it up and down by 10%, but even though I set the music volume to the lowest (10%) it is still too loud when you are streaming this game. You can’t really talk while the music is on. So I had to turn off the music so my viewers could hear my voice.

Since I’m using a triple screen, I had problems with looking at the speedometer and standing. It was far on the left and right side of the screen. I wish I could customize the HUD and put it on the center screen. Or maybe I can customize the HUD in settings? I will check later on the settings menu.

For a beginner (like me) in a motocross game, this game might be a little too difficult to play. It takes time to get better at this game, you need to get the feeling of riding the motorcycle and in my opinion it is easier to drive the car. But I heard they’ll introduce some game physics which makes this game more beginner friendly in the next update. I will wait for the upcoming updates and I will keep you guys updated.

I can’t talk much about the game physics and more, because this is the first time I’m playing a motocross game. Honestly I don’t know much about the physics of the motorcycle, I never ride a motorcycle in real life. I can’t say this game has good or bad physics.

I will learn more to get better at this game for sure. And I might try other motocross games and compare them. If I have to rate this game from 0 to 10, I will rate this game 8.5 It’s a fun game to play, it has no commitment like you have to play this everyday. You can play anytime you want, when you feel like you wanna do it, or when your friends are coming over, this game could be the best game to play. Graphics are great, music is also great.

I will definitely play this more, I would like to try the ATV and UTV next time. I will come back with an update about this game and who knows I might get into a motocross game? We’ll see.
