Well guys here we are again, 7 days have come and gone, and what a week it has been for me.
Tuesday it was UKSimracers MX5’s this time it was Interlagos, you know some people say they commentate on great leagues and say it’s the best ever, well guys for MX5 racing this is the best for this league is littered with talented drivers, and please I’m not saying other MX5 leagues I have done are bad, this one just seems to have a special feel about it.
Race 1 was littered with amazing overtakes and some incredible racing as the top 5 are battling right to the last lap Jamie Ayres, Steve Hefford, Pete Van gool Ralf Cullinan battled for the victory right to the line, with Jamie Ayres taking the victory.
We then move to Race 2 where we had the greatest ending ever, and this was due to Mick Barrie the AM driver leading the field from the green flag to the chequered flag bar one lap, and again we saw some great action all the way through which led us into the last lap Mick Barrie was second going into Juncao, then we had the run to the line where Steve Hefford was leading, Mick Barrie tightened up the run up the hill to the line and snatched the victory away from Steve Hefford by 0.098 of a second and Mick Barrie became the first AM driver to win overall and not only that he took his first ever victory in the league, it was absolutely amazing. Will say now if you watch it back just turn the volume down on the last lap because I do get rather excited.
So, after that epic race 2 this led us into Race 3 where Jason Morris started Pole unfortunately for Jason this lasted half a lap and Pete Newman came through and took the lead, this then began an amazing 15 minutes of great racing from all the drivers involved in the league with Pete Newman taking the victory from Ralph Cullinan and Craig Jones coming across the line in 3rd place.
Race 4 was Just as amazing as the last 3 and with Craig Crawford on pole were we about to see 2 AM winners in one night, well unfortunately not as Craig got so excited that he jumped the start and got a stop and go, so this led to Martin Sampson taking the lead on lap 1 and this lasted right to Lap 7 where unfortunately he was caught and past by Pete Newman, who went on to take the victory and with Pete Van Gool robbing Martin Sampson on the line for second place Martin finally finishing down in 3rd.
Now my Wednesday was a quiet night with the misses after college so this took into Thursday where the UKSR Pcup League from the Hockenheimring. Christina Szaruta taking pole for race one and James Parker behind we were definitely going to get an epic race, and this did not disappoint with Christian leading from start to finish with some close but fair racing with James eventually finishing Christian P1 and James p2 and with Richard Jepp doing superbly taking 3rd place, so the 30 minute feature was next up with a top 8 reversed this was Oliver Cowerdines chance to take a victory as he started in pole position, well this was not meant to be as he led for half of lap before getting overtaken by Mickey Pollard, well that opening few laps set the precedent for the rest of the race as the battle heated up with the eventual winner James Parker taking the lead on lap 17 and staying that position until the end of the race, James Parker in 1st place, Austin Greatorex taking 2nd and Mickey pollard in 3rd.

Friday night saw the return of the FBL Community and MoSport provided the venue for some awesome Radical racing. Paul Crabb took pole with Mike Busson a new driver to the series taking second place, with an action packed 30 minutes it was Paul and Mike in the front two positions, battling all the way to the last lap with Paul taking the victory and Mike in second by 0.353 of a second. This race had it all epic overtakes, 3-way battles, but don’t take my word for it watch it back on the stream here.
Well, my Saturday was incredible I went on a meet and greet with the organisers up at Santa Pod Raceway, watched some epic drag racing and a rocket engine VW Van literally blast my socks off, but all I can say is watch this space.
So, Sunday I was once again with the UKSR and the return of the GT3’S from Interlagos. So race one saw James Armstrong take pole and he literally led the race from the green flag to the chequered flag and took the victory by 2.726 seconds from Si Anthony in 2nd and 12.555 seconds from Daryl Norkett in third place.
So Race 2 was, well interesting a top 15 reverse and this led to some out of this world racing, with 22 minutes on the clock, there was no hold barred racing as everyone was vying to try and take the victory, but it was Nathan Foster leading from pole to take the victory over Yannis Aulbert in 2nd and Geoff Griffiths in 3rd and as always guys here is the link https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1491108818 for your viewing pleasure.
So that’s it from me for this week, and with another busy one coming up there’s more great action for you guys to tune into and watch back as always. As always take care, have a great week and I might see you on the track sometime.
