MotoGP for many years has produced outstanding racing that continues the trend for the present and future.

MotoGP for many years has been the premier class for motorcycling that captivates millions of people around the world. Year after year we have seen fantastic racing that has seen championships go down to the wire and where every race is like a finale for the crown.

2022 has been a very interesting year so far for MotoGP, 8 times world champion Marc Marquez has been coming back to form after his horrific injuries from 2021, the multiple champion never gives up as he has had some great results this season with his race from the back of the grid at COTA and finishing 6th, and who can forget that save at Jerez  T13 where the bike was down on its side and he recovers it, a landmark that the champ is returning to form.

Defending champion Fabio Quartararo is quietly going about his business and racking up points and victories, Yamaha seems to be pinning all of their cards on Fabio as he is the only Yamaha rider that is bringing in the haul of points. Betting on the world champion at this point would be too early as other riders like Pecco Bagnaia are coming back to form from his 2021 strong finish to the season. The 2020 world champion Joan Mir is having a mixed season in 2022, the Suzuki rider is showing good pace and form but struggles to get the results to stay in touch with Quartararo. Aprilia Racing is showing good form with Aleix Espargaro who is sitting second in the championship, we have seen the rider and motorcycle come on in leaps and bounds over the past year. Mir’s team mate Alex Rins has shown some impressive rides so far, his race at Portimao showed how good Rins is as he worked his way through the pack after poor qualifying to finish 4th.

Factory Ducati rider Jack Miller is sitting 11th in the championship, for many this will have many people scratching there heads as they know he is a great rider, Jerez brought some positivity to the rider “Leaving Jerez with a 5th, we fought hard for what felt like the entire race for that podium” said the Aussie racer.

As we all know with racing, anything can happen, MotoGP is a sublime racing series that has many people on the edge of their seats.  Legends like Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Kevin Schwantz, Barry Sheene, Kenny Roberts, the list could go on and on have all made sure that motorcycle racing has been handed down to the current generation who are keeping the racing and championship flame burning bright for many years to come.
