Hello! Back with me ELZ in my 14th blog here in simrace247! This week has been pretty busy yet fun for me, as you guys can see on my latest stream, I added more cameras for my pedals, and I have a nice background with curtain lights and stuff. I’m so happy I level up my streaming setup.

I finally got some time to do racing, which I missed racing so much! It felt so good to be back on track.  This week I was racing at Suzuka. It was a 90 minutes race at night with dynamic weather. As usual I drove my favorite car, the Mc Laren. I didn’t practice much for this race. I just ran a couple laps and made a setup for the race.

There was a light rain at the start of the race. I wasn’t sure which setup should I use for this race, should I run the wet setup? Or should I keep my dry setup, do a couple laps and see if I need to change my tires or not.

I decided to drive with dry tires, so does everyone else I guess. When the light turned green I can tell we were all being extra careful. I started from P25 and slowly gained a position to P11 even though I got into an incident on the first lap.

I really enjoyed the whole race, the night race is absolutely my favorite. Yet this race is challenging too! I don’t really race that much at Suzuka, and that was also the first time I had a night race in the rain.

Too bad I crashed into the wall on lap 22. My car was damaged pretty badly, but it is still drivable. I refused to go back to the pit and repair my car, I didn’t want to spend so much time at the pit. I knew I was losing my top speed because of the crash, so I tried my best to keep on driving and defend my position. In the end, I finished at P18. I’m so happy with the result, I can say my lap time is consistent and the most important is I enjoyed the race.

Next month I’ll be busy with races and I might start the iRacing stream as well. I hope I can stream iRacing more, I want to get better in iRacing. Check out my upcoming races below and don’t forget to come and say hi on my stream! I stream on Twitch (www.twitch.tv/elzindriani). I have cute emotes for my subscribers, enjoy!

Upcoming races :

  • 1/5 Kyalami & Spa Francorchamps
  • 5/5 Brands Hatch
  • 6/5 Barcelona

So that’s it for this week, hope to see you all next week! See ya!
