Race Asylum GT4 Team Tourer
On Sunday 20-03-2022, was the GT4 team tourer. I was looking forward to driving a race again. I can drive only on Gran Turismo Sport, or Gran Turismo 7, because of the bad internet. Which is going to be solved, the 5th of April!! The GT4 Team Tourer, was 3 races at Barcelona. I drove together with Sophie Aeronwen and Andre in a team. Each driver had a car, which needed to be a different drive train. Every driver needed to drive in one race with hard tires.

I didn’t have time to practice, on the super soft my pace was very good! My pace on the hard tire was awful. Lack of practice showed, my pace was better at the end of the race, which means too late. I ended up P3, P12, and P4! Not too bad, my two races on super soft, and I enjoyed teaming up with Sophie and Andre (MacZellie from my community)! I couldn’t stream, the races are now on my YouTube channel!

NEW PROJECT!

As the new Team Manager for eTeamBRIT, I am very proud to share news about this really exciting project we are about to launch. This is not a new concept and has been done very successfully in the past, but never with a disabled person. eTeamBRIT specialises in sim racing for disabled people, Team BRIT specialises in track racing for disabled people, Sim Solutions specialises in the business of sim racing.

Combining all this expertise with the new racing hand controls developed by Team BRIT, we have all the ingredients in place to make this project a huge success. I will be sharing all the exciting news every week – who’s the lucky driver? What car? How do the hand controls work? The race championship… and so much more.

There will be videos and links to lots more information.

Every weekly blog, I will do an update about this amazing project!! I can’t wait to see how this is going to work out, it will be a huge project, and an example from achieving and believing!! The next couple of weeks, we are very busy with this project, and also with re-building the team. Lots of interesting projects to look forward to! Are you interested to know more about eTeamBRIT, you can send me an email yvonne@teambrit.co.uk. I want to ask all of you, to share this amazing project and follow the journey of a disabled sim racer to a disabled track racer!!

Upcoming races:
26-03-2022: ESI Women’s GT 40 minutes @ Interlagos I cannot stream the race, but we will record the race, and upload this on YouTube. Manufacturer races on GT7.
