Hello, all! Back again with me and welcome to my 6th weekly blog. This week has been very good for me, as I am back on racing! I missed the feeling and adrenaline already. I’m gonna share with you how my races went.

Pro League Racing WT Evaluation

So basically this is a test race for the PLR GT3 World Tour 2022 Season 2 . The stewards will decide which split/class for me based on my race result, my lap time, etc. I saw a lot of new drivers, pretty excited to race with them. I’m taking the BMW M4 for all the races held by Pro League Racing, I think it’s good to have more options for the car. Although I didn’t practice much before the race, I was pretty confident with my pace in Silverstone.

Too bad my ping was pretty high on the server. Not sure if it was because I was racing in Dublin server, or my internet was just bad at that time. So I decided to be very careful the whole race. Didn’t plan to do a battle and overtake, I experienced a ping spike, saw some drivers behaving un-natural (glitching), especially when I came pretty close to them.

I’ve been chasing the car in front for about 12 laps or even more. Didn’t expect a great battle with such a bad connection. From this race, I learned how to drive with a bad ping. It was a new lesson and experience for me. I can say I’m glad I had a bad ping, so I can prepare myself for any circumstances, and having a bad ping is pretty common, so I feel like I should know how to handle this situation.

On Wednesday I should’ve joined another race held by Formula Racing League. I was so excited to back on racing in Silverstone. I was proud of my lap time, I reached 02:09 with very little amount of practice in wet conditions. I’m pretty sure I could gain 1 second or more in few laps. Of course there are a lot of faster drivers on the grid, one of them even made it to 02:06 that is insane.

Too bad I was still having the same problem like the previous race. Bad ping. I had to restart my PC and wifi 5 minutes before the qualifying starts. Things getting worse. Even my PC took forever to restart and get into the game. I don’t know why. I had to cancel today’s race. That’s a shame but it is what it is.

Hopefully tomorrow will be better. Here’s my upcoming race schedule :

3/3 FRL British GT Championship R2 @ Snetterton
9/3 FRL The Long Run R3 @ Bathurst
