The first big iRacing event of 2022 will be at Daytona International Speedway this weekend. Bring on the roar before the 24!
Attention racing fans, this weekend is the first big event in iRacing, the roar before the 24 is the build up to the big event at Daytona International Speedway.
This year is the 60th Rolex 24 At the 5.7km long Daytona Speedway from January the 26th and will include drivers from Nascar, Indy Car and Le Mans, all on the same circuit.
It’s a who’s who of some of the best drivers in the world and as well as the GT field will feature Porsche, Ferrari, Audi and LMP2/prototype cars.
What better way to prepare for this great race than to join other sim racersaround the world at the iRacing Roar Before The 24 from the 14th to the 16th of January!
This iRacing special event runs over 4 sessions and features touring car classes, GT4 cars as well as the global MX5 cup. The time slots start from 10 pm GMT on the 14th of January to 4 pm GMT on the 15th of January.
The Roar Before The 24 marks the start of the iRacing special events calendar for 2022 that features stock, sports and formula cars.
This is followed on January the 22nd with the iRacing Daytona 24 featuring GT3 and LMP2 cars. There will be hundreds of iRacing teams competing in this 6th year of this popular eSports event! Joining them will be team spotters, team race engineers and team managers, all working around the whole 24 hours to get their team over the line.
