The Sim Grid Endurance Cup
Round 3, of The Sim Grid Endurance Cup at Paul Ricard got canceled. Assetto Corsa Competizione had a big update, with a new car, new tire module. There were some problems, with the game freezing or crashing, this is the reason why it got postponed to next month.
Luckily, after some updates, ACC is working good and we can start learning the new tire module. It’s going to be very interesting and also difficult, we need to do more trail braking now, and that is very difficult with my feet.
I will practice more, and I’m also going to try using the clutch as a brake. Fingers crossed and hopefully I’ll be up to speed for this weekend.
GT Sport
Last Saturday 27-11-2021, I had my second race on GT Sport. The race was part of a championship MonomarcaGT Femenino, next season is in 2022, if I can the dates, then I will join for the championship. I don’t have much experience in GT Sport.
I didn’t know the track, Tsukuba. Luckily it was easy to learn. We needed to drive the Abarth 500. Sophie Aeronwen, made a special livery for me. I qualified at P6, lost some positions with the start.
With a good race, and a lot better pace than I thought, I ended up P6. I upload the replay of the race on YouTube. You’re probably going to laugh, the Abarth 500 is wiggling over the track, I drove with a controller.
That’s over now, I have the hub and I can use my wheel and pedals in the next race!! The next race is Tuesday 07-12-2021, with the Aston Martin V12, 35 laps at Spa Francorchamps.
RCI Endurance World Challenge
The fourth round of the RCI Endurance World Challenge is, 12 hours at Bathurst. On Saturday 04-12-2021, driving Sophie Aeronwen, Alethea Boucq and I, the race with Bernadette (the Bentley).
It’s going to be very interesting because it’s multiclass racing. There will be a part, that we are not allowed to overtake the GT4’s. It’s going to be a very long race, tricky in the mountain. But it’s not the only race we are doing….
12 hour Misano by LFM & Garage 991
On Saturday 04-12-2021, there is also 12 hours at Misano. I drive together with, Sophie Aeronwen and Sara Dove. It’s going to be tough two 12 hour races on the same day. We are going to plan it as well as possible, and hopefully, we get two good results!!
On 03-12-2021 Friday evening is the qualifying and the super pole. This is the reason why I cannot drive Theamusante Community Rush Hour, that’s also on Friday evening the 3rd of December. It’s a busy weekend, but I’m looking forward to it!
The Sim Grid More Female Racers
On Monday 06-12-2021, is it time for round 5 of The Sim Grid More Female Races, at Zolder. I drive together with Giorgio Simonini. I will practice a lot on Sunday, because I don’t have much time before Sunday to practice.
Hopefully, we can keep up with the good results! We are doing it really well, with 2x P4, 1x P3, and 1x P2! The public vote is also up, there you can choose between 3 tracks. The track who got the most votes, we need to drive that on the last round.
