Back in early October, we had seen exclusive work being carried out by Advanced Simulation on the free Acura ARXO5 DPI IMSA mod for rFactor 2. Advanced Simulation has been putting in a lot of work with their creations recently.
It was only a few days ago we had seen the announcement of the Rebellion R13 LM1/Alpine A480 LMH race car, and only a few weeks before that, the ENSO CLM P1/01 ByKolles LMP1 had been released.
So here we are nearly mid November and Advanced Simulation continues as promised with their hard and creative work. We are pleased to announce the progress of the Acura ARXO5 DPI IMSA for rFactor 2 with exclusive information from my contacts at Advanced Simulation.
One thing that is very important in the development of Advanced Simulation cars has been its test drivers and sources can confirm a real IMSA driver will be testing the Acura ARXO5 DPI IMSA.
In the development of the car, the first version will only include our own (Advanced simulation) physics package which was made before the S397 Cadillac DPi, and noting on considering to “think about make additional physics package to balance them”.
In terms of liveries available, the 2021 and previous seasons shall be available, ensuring the painters and designers will be kept busy with this project. As you would expect with Advanced Simulation cars, the quality will be at the highest levels without compromise, these cars are to be enjoyed and admired for their great standards.
In relation to design, two downforce packages shall be available in the release version being the Low downforce (LDF) and high downforce (HDF) .
All the cars being created for the future like the Acura ARXO5 DPI IMSA will include LMDh packages to match our future LMH cars such as the Mazda RT24-P and Nissan Onroak DPi.
