Pro League Racing is bringing you a special charity event in Assetto Corsa Competizione on December 19th. Grab your space on the grid and be part of an event for a good cause.
We are excited to announce that Pro League Racing is hosting our first organised charity event – Sunrise at Suzuka on Assetto Corsa Competizione
The event is in Aid of St Michael’s Hospice Harrogate.
Saint Michael’s is here for people who need extra support on top of the day-to-day care they receive from GPs, district nurses, hospital teams and nursing home staff. Without the hospice, these people could be left to face the complex issues and forgotten challenges of terminal illness alone.
We care for people with a variety of terminal illnesses, including heart failure, respiratory illnesses and neurological conditions; as well as cancer. Your donations are vital in raising the £5million that we spend annually providing this care.
One of our Admins Mum, who passed away last year, relied on her local hospice for a number of years as she lived with terminal cancer, the support they gave her was incredible and so valuable, without it she would not have been as comfortable (relatively!) and probably wouldn’t have been with us as long, so for Pro League Racing, it’s a great cause.
The bit you are all interested in! The event details:
- 12hr race on the 19th of December, 10amUK – 11 pm UK
- In game will run at 2x speed (7 am – 7 am)
- Team Size: 3-4
- Driver time: 5hrs max – this will be in server settings. 2hr minimum – we know real life can get in the way at times so there is no coded minimum in server settings.
- Weatherman Konrad is not allowed anywhere near the weather – but there will be some variability so setup for a range of temps and a bit of rain.
Pricing
We are proud of the fact that we run PLR free of charge and will continue to put all our main events on without charge.
However this is a charity event and therefore we ask that each team donates a minimum of £5 to the JustGiving page https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/plrsuzuka – when donating for your team entry, add your team name to your donation to track it.
