Of course it is, at what point would you read that and think it wasn’t. Anyway, moving on we see a video from Dan SimRacing on his change from the CSL Elite to the new CSL DD.
The CSL Elite for some has been that great racing wheel that has provided everything you need from a wheel/base before spending silly money on a Direct Drive setup.
However, in 2021 Fanatec decided to shake up the market by releasing the CSL as a new standard. No longer will the CSL range of wheelbase be belt and gear, it will be Direct Drive from now on.
This sent shockwaves through the sim racing community and other wheelbase manufacturers. Getting back to the video, Dan goes on to mention his transition from the Elite to the DD, is it worth the money and change?
