More women in sim racing: Scarlett

Introducing more women in sim racing continues with a newcomer to sim racing.

Hello, my name is Scarlett and I have a story to tell about how I got into sim racing.

One day I was watching my boyfriend driving a track on ACC and my curious personality brings me to the conclusion “that looks interesting”.
Whilst he was driving he noticed me watching him racing without saying any words. He looked at me and asked if I wanted to have a go doing some driving. Well, I like a challenge so My answer was “YES” because I knew it would be fun.
I do not have any skills or any knowledge of Motorsports, yet I was sitting there and started driving.

As I am driving He lets me know what the buttons are for, where to shift on the wheel and some helpful tips.
He then gives me a track not designed for beginners and a car that requires great skill. So here goes, My Boyfriend was not ready for this moment. He just was shocked at how I was driving and knew she has the talent and ability to drive the car really well.

It made me laugh because I was just wondering what is going on with him because it was not a big deal for me.
You have to know that a story is told by every person in the world. It was not my biggest strength to have self trust. My whole life I had to fight against the outside world and to protect myself from persons who want to destroy me. I was searching for something that makes me feel alive and then this day changed my whole life.

I was afraid but my body and my mind were not stopping, I was just talking much like oh my gosh ahh.
After one lap he said Ok then let’s switch again. But the big surprise I don’t want to stop, I want to get more of this.

Now my whole life had changed. I’m a part of the outside world and I know what I want.
One month and so many results which are real. It is still hard for me to believe what is going on. The streaming was a Test just an idea, and now it’s a big part of my life. Same in the driving. It is my life and I want to win and show that you can just do it!

It’s possible! Give yourself a chance to grow!
