Sebring 12HR: Big iRacing weekend with SIMRACE247 in the mix

It is time for the iRacing 12 Hours of Sebring, the special event that attracts the majority of the service’s drivers to contest the virtual version of one of motorsport’s iconic events.

A big percentage of the 140,000+ or so drivers on iRacing will team up to tackle the event which will be headlined by the top split which is sure to feature all the big sim racing teams and their star drivers.

Fresh off winning the sixth split at the recent iRacing Bathurst 12 Hours driving a Ferrari GT3; SIMRACE247 tackle this edition of the virtual Sebring race in the Dallara P217 with Bathurst winner Troy Dolinscheck teamed up along with John-Henri Vaughan and Vladislav Zenkov.

Coming off of the heels of what should remain one of the most exciting real-world finishes of 2021 for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, this weekend is the chance for iRacers to hit the virtual Sebring International Raceway for the iRacing Sebring 12HR.

The team event features iRacing’s IMSA lineup of LMP2, GTE, and GT3 entries going once around the clock at the famous Florida road course.

  • Time Slots: Friday 22:00 GMT, Saturday 7:00, 12:00, 16:00 GMT
  • License Restrictions: Road D 4.0 and up
  • Cars Competing: Dallara P217, BMW M8 GTE, Chevrolet Corvette C8R GTE, Ferrari 488 GTE, Porsche 911 RSR, BMW M4 GT3 Prototype, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO
  • Event Format: 120 minutes open practice, 8 minutes/2 laps qualifying, 30 minutes warmup, 720 minutes (12 hours) race
