iRacing: Road to eNASCAR refreshed for 2021

  • by

Want to make your way into the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series next year? A great series that is well worth checking out.

The eNASCAR Road to Pro ladder has received a slight overhaul for the 2021 season, for drivers looking to join iRacing’s premier eNASCAR series for 2022 and beyond.

Here’s a look at the three divisions on the ladder, and how they all break down:

eNASCAR Road to Pro Qualifying Series: Round 1

The first half of the eNASCAR Road to Pro Qualifying Series closely resembles the former “eNASCAR iRacing Road to Pro Series,” including use of the current NASCAR Camping World Truck Series vehicles. Anyone with an Oval A 2.0 License or higher, excluding current eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series drivers, can take part in this eight-race series on Thursday nights, starting March 4 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Splits will be based on iRating, with a maximum of 35 cars per split.

eNASCAR Road to Pro Qualifying Series: Round 2

The top 70 point scorers in Round 1 of the eNASCAR Road to Pro Qualifying Series will move on to Round 2. The trucks are the same, but the tracks are different, and instead of a split by iRating, the field will be split off in a snake format by Round 1 points. This series kicks off July 8 at Knoxville Raceway and wraps up on September 30 at Phoenix Raceway.

eNASCAR Road to Pro Contender Series

Formerly known as the “eNASCAR iRacing Pro Series,” this is where the top 20 from the eNASCAR Road to Pro Qualifying Series join up with any driver who didn’t automatically retain their eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series license. Running on Tuesdays through the fall and early winter with the NASCAR Xfinity Series cars, the top 20 drivers in this series make their way into the eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series for the following season.
