SIMRACE247 presents Formula Renault Series on rFactor 2

We are proud to present the Formula Renault 3.5 Series organised by Advanced Simulation and SIMRACE247.com on the rFactor 2 platform.

The nine-round series (eight of them counting for points) will be hosted from 5 March 2021 – with Round Zero being a familiarisation event – and run through to the finale on 14 May.

Interested team owners and drivers can register for this free championship which will entail you to the official practice servers running 24-7 ahead of the event. Along with this you will have access to our network of five servers dedicated to hosting cool rF2 track/car/mod combos.

The SIMRACE247 Formula Renault 3.5 Series will also have a-contest-within-a-contest, namely ‘The Gentleman’s Cup’ for drivers 40-years-old and over, as well as a championship for teams. Privateer drivers are also welcome.

Mostly familiar tracks were chosen with user-friendliness and race-ability in mind, as well as the ‘experimental’ Bahrain Outer Loop which should be a blast to drive or watch the action.

The eight points scoring rounds will be streamed live to our social media channels. Coverage details will be released closer to the time.

The goal for the inaugural series is to attract a regular roster of drivers, committed to each round of the 2021 SIMRACE247 Formula Renault 3.5 Series – vital to the success of any league and its progress.

Thereafter other exciting projects are planned for the future, including a GT500 series using the superb cars produced and created by Nick Stepanenko and his Advanced Simulation team.
