Having been out since 2018 and in early access, Assetto Corsa Competizione has had a mixed reception starting from its early day(which should not be judged to hard) to the rise of where it is now as a front running competitive esports GT3/GT4 title.
With Kunos being well renowned for the ever popular Assetto Corsa and the huge modding community that supports it, it came at a shock to many that mods were not going to be enabled for ACC. The heart and soul of the first AC was not allowed to continue in ACC.
At stages the fanbase was in dire straits with ACC upon full release, comments of “dead on arrival” were floating around and many just did not expect this from a game that Kunos made.
