In the latest installment of Mod Hunting, Paul Velasco takes a look at the ‘definitive’ Super GT mod for Assetto Corsa.
The 2013 Super GT GT500 Definitive Edition mod by Chivas (which is no longer available) captures the essence of Super GT racing in every aspect. Graphical details, 3D modeling, sound and feel.
Launched for free on October 16th, this mod is bound to pick up some traction as the Assetto Corsa community begins to discover it.
The 2013 mod features a Honda HSV-010GT, the Lexus SC430 and the Nissan GT-R R35 which all competed in the GT500 category.
While in awe of the mod as a whole, Velasco goes as far as claiming the pack features some of the best AI in the entirety of Assetto Corsa. Take a look at his race against the AI at LilSki’s Watkins Glen to see for yourself.
