Video: The evolution of the F1 games

Popular F1 game content creator Tiametmarduk has put together a video comparing each of the Codemasters F1 titles back to back.

Although the infamous F1 2009 for the Nintendo Wii is missing, we’ll let him off given the back to back comparisons and analysis!

Testing each seasons’ McLaren at Monaco also provides an interesting insight into the evolution of the cars, not just the graphics and changes on Codemasters’ behalf.

Perhaps the most notable change early on is the jump into F1 2014. With the introduction of the V6 hybrid era, we wave goodbye to those glorious sounding V8 engines.

For regulars, each clip will surely offer some nostalgia, albeit not the same as for the sim racing veterans amongst us.
