Porsche 935 Moby Dick coming to Project Cars 3

Slightly Mad Studios have released another teaser for Project Cars fans in the shape of this hotlap video.

The video sees the 2019 Porsche 935 Moby Dick take to Porsche’s Leipzig test circuit.

The original 935s ran the roost back in the 1970s. With its name heralding from that iconic tail, the 1978 Moby Dick dominated Group 5running Le Mans at 228mph, faster than some prototypes, and lapping just 4 seconds slower than Formula 1 at Silverstone.

The new Porsche 935 that makes its debut in Project CARS 3 remains true to that all-winning silhouette and formula. Add a 3.8L twin-turbo boxer-6 and 2019 tech and you have Porsche supremacy once more.

2019 saw the project brought back to life. Based on the 991 GT2 RS, the 935 pairs that 70s style with 21st-century design.

The trailer also confirms the arrival of a new circuit. Porsche’s Leipzig based test circuit. The 3.7km track is geared entirely towards understanding the thrill of driving. The mouths at Porsche big the track up with the emotion of driving it “impossible to describe”.

Project Cars 3 is set to launch on August 28th and will be available on Steam and the PlayStation and Xbox stores.
