W Series reveal eSports calendar

W Series have announced the dates and broadcasting details for their ten race eSports series that was announced on May 7.

The series is due to start on June 11 with races every Thursday at 19:00 BST and features the full 2020 grid.

Taking place over ten consecutive weeks, the iRacing championship is set to finish in mid-August hinting that there will be no real W Series action until the Autumn. However, no official statements have yet been made on when and if a 2020 season will commence.

The W Series eSports League tours ten of the greatest race circuits, albeit virtually, in the world on the iRacing platform. Each event is to be livestreamed across the championship’s  official Twitch, YouTube and Facebook channels which are all free to air.

“The W Series Esports League is a brand-new initiative from W Series, aiming raising female visibility in esports. Our ambition is to encourage and inspire more women and girls everywhere to take up eracing, opening up a new world of equality and diversity in what has previously been seen as a predominantly male-dominated activity.”
