simRACE247 has been formed at a time when sim racing as a sport is booming, providing a platform for young talented motorsport fans to get a taste of racing with wheel and pedals. These move on to become fine sim racers and enjoy careers that span decades.

A hobby/sport that was the domain of motorsport nerds not too long ago, is now mainstream with many opportunities for dedicated and skilled drivers to make a name themselves on the eSport stage. Here, with hard graft and commitment, these drivers can end up one day going head-to-head with the top sim drivers of this generation, whose poster boys are none less than Max Verstappen, Lando Norris and the like.

Our Team is made up of young guns seeking to become pro-level drivers needing a hand with their sim racing careers, through to amateur drivers who are keen to race and develop within a team environment of like-minded motorsport and sim racing fans.

The main focus will be to shine on the iRacing platform, with Factor 2 and Assetto Corsa programmes also planned for the team.

Team Structure

simRACE247 is made up of young guns seeking to become pro-level drivers needing a hand with their sim racing careers, through to amateur drivers who are keen to race and develop within a team environment of like-minded motorsport and sim racing fans.

The Team simRACE247 will be managed by Sam Tomlinson

- - a driver whose main professional activity is based around motorsport with simming as a training and/or entertainment tool;
  - experienced winner in sim and/or real life endurance racing as well as other forms of road racing and/or oval racing;
  - able to coach, run training programmes and track days;
  - be able to Vlog and stream;
  - have leadership qualities with experience in real racing and/or extensive experience in simming;
  - provide input and advice to management;
  - be part of sponsorship and promotional programmes.

- - starting point for young drivers and wants to make it to the top of simming;
  - serious amateur drivers with strong results over his/her career;
  - serious pro-am drivers with strong results in iRacing, rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa platforms;
  - be able to Vlog and stream;
  - open to promoting team sponsors and activities.
  - has skills/services of use to the team. eg. painters, writers, setups, legal, graphic artists;
  - prepared to donate time to help the team when needed.
  - Drivers: Vladislav Zenkov, Kewyn Snyman, Brock Trainor & Angus Claasen

- - drivers aged over 30 and not satisfying the criteria of categories Platinum and Gold;
    has experience in iRacing, rFactor2 and/or on Assetto Corsa platforms;
  - has competed competitively in high-level online simming competitions;
  - has real life racing experience and wants to break into sim racing;
    open to promoting team sponsors and activities;
  - has skills/services of use to the team. eg. painters, writers, setups, legal, graphic artists;
  - prepared to donate time to help the team when needed.
